A divorce can be one of the most difficult times in a person’s life. An individual is consumed with questions of what will happen to their children, how will they support themselves in the near term, and how will the divorce effect their long term retirement goals.
I have spent the past 20 years answering these critical questions. I believe that one of my major roles as an attorney is to educate my client to their rights and responsibilities within the legal system. Once a client is educated he or she is better equipped to truly understand and participate in the divorce process, a process which will have a profound affect on the rest of their lives.
I believe it is always in my client’s best interests to work towards a fair and amicable divorce settlement. However, when an amicable settlement is impossible, it is crucial to be represented by an experienced attorney who knows the law and is willing to fight to ensure your rights are protected. I will attempt and encourage settlement, however, if a fair and amicable settlement cannot be reached, I have 20 years experience devising aggressive litigation strategies aimed at achieving my client’s ultimate goals.
